This policy covers the DFI Pipeline mobile app (iOS and Android) and the pipeline.dfipiling.com website.
If you visit pipeline.dfipiling.com without a DFI Employee login, we do not track anything about your visit. We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
If you submit a resume through a job posting, or email us, the information you submit (name, contact details, resume/attachments, and message content) is stored on our servers and used only to evaluate your application and communicate with you about it.
If you are not a DFI Employee, we do not track anything about your use of the App, except automatic crash reports (device type, OS version, and technical details about the error) sent to our crash-reporting provider (Sentry) if the App crashes or hits an error. These reports are used only to help us fix bugs and are not used to track your activity.
If you are a DFI Employee, using the App requires you to log in with your employee credentials. To provide the App's features, we collect and process:
Your broader employment-related privacy rights (how your HR/personnel records are handled outside the App) are also covered by the standard DFI employee handbook you agreed to when you started working for DFI. This policy covers the App and website specifically — it doesn't replace or limit anything the handbook already promises you.
We use the information above only to provide and support the features of the App and website (timesheets, scheduling, submissions, notifications, document library, door access, etc.), to keep the App secure, and to fix bugs and crashes. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We share limited data with the following service providers, solely to operate the features above: Sentry (crash/error reporting), Twilio (SMS and voice verification). Each acts on our behalf and is not permitted to use your data for its own purposes.
We retain employment-related data for as long as required by your employment and applicable law. Job applicant information is retained for a limited period after the position is filled. Crash/diagnostic reports are retained by our provider per their standard retention window.
The App and website are intended for use by the general public, DFI employees and job applicants and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We use industry-standard measures (including encrypted storage of login credentials on your device and encrypted connections to our servers) to protect your information.
